Mahindra’s Born Electric range, including the BE.09, is based on the INGLO platform. It supports 60-80kWh battery packs, offering a range of around 435-450km on a single charge. The platform also supports single and dual-motor setups.
Convenience and Technology
Despite the carmaker being tight-lipped about the interior details, we can expect the three-screen dashboard, new steering wheel design, climate control interface, and new layout of seats.
Exterior and Interior Styling
The BE.09 is a coupe SUV featuring a sloping roof line. It has a similar design to the BE.05 with sharp edges and C-shaped LED daytime running lights connected by an LED light bar. Other exterior highlights include a short front overhang, large rear overhang, and connected tail lights. The flared wheel arches with large wheels might come down a size in the production-ready model. The interior of the BE.09 has not been revealed, but we know it will pick up elements showcased at Mahindra’s event in South Africa.
