For mannered driving, the long-range Hyundai Creta Electric can go 473km on a single charge (MIDC-claimed). On the more fun side, it can go from zero to 100kmph in just 7.9 seconds. It is offered with three driving modes, Eco, Normal, and Sport. The Eco mode provides the highest range, while the Sport mode increases the SUV’s power delivery and responsiveness. The 50kW DC fast charger can charge its battery from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in 58 minutes, while the 11kW fast AC home charger takes 4 hours and 50 minutes to juice it up from 10 per cent to 100 per cent. The V2L (Vehicle to Load) feature (available only in the Excellence trim) lets users power their appliances inside and outside the SUV, like a mobile power source. Hyundai Creta EV Convenience and Technology
The dashboard carries similarities to the ICE Creta too, including the dual 10.25-inch curvilinear screens but has an EV-specific UI for a unique experience. The three-spoke EV specific steering wheel, the steering-column-mounted drive selector, drive modes, ventilated front seats, paddle shifters for regen settings, and the 360-degree camera add to the convenience. The panoramic sunroof, two cupholders, cooled storage, dual zone climate control, auto-dimming IRVM, ambient lighting and wireless charger, all come together to make the Creta Electric a fun compact SUV to live with. Hyundai Creta EV Exterior and Interior Styling
In terms of design, the Creta Electric carries over the silhouette of its ICE cousin, but gets pixelated graphic front and rear bumpers with new skid plates. The new grille tastefully integrates the charging port behind the Hyundai logo section. The LED headlights, taillights, and DRLs are similar to the ICE version but the EV grille and coloured panels make the lighting stand out more. The new 17-inch alloy wheels with aero patterns take the center stage while viewing its side profile. The rear is mostly unchanged but the Electric badge makes the distinction easier.
